Ommen, The Netherlands- july 13

After drying out, and hotel breakfast (good, but not israeli good) rode the "dutch mountains" (i.e. serious headwind) west out of Germany. Couldn't find a room in zwolle (NVM yesterday's comment) so gonna split planned ride in two and find a makeup day down the road. Cloudy, little mist in the morning, some rain in afternoon - aint so bad. Dutch bike paths are divided with a painted line, but otherwise not that different than germany. Forgot to mention great signage everywhere.  Also that i ran into several people in western germany who didnt know English- not the case in the Netherlands.  Lots of farms with mini animals, and people mowing their lawns with some robot mini mower. 100% off road riding today, even in the little towns of schoonebeek and hardenberg (cheesecake and a street party).  Dinner.in town. 48 miles to nice hotel Wildthout ($117 ‐ over budget!).
